Our English evening courses consist of 2 lessons once a week. Usually an evening English course lasts 12 weeks. You can obviously reduce or increase the length of the course, depending on your needs. This is the best way to learn in a constant way, step by step, and of course having fun. Our evening courses are ideal for those people who want to learn English and work, study or have other duties during the morning.
In MAR Sprachschule we offer two types of evening courses: evening course option 1 and evening course option 2. For the Spanish, Italian, French and English evening courses we offer Option 1 that refers to one day of class per week, 2 lessons. You don’t have an urgent need to communicate like a native and don’t have much time, however you’re a perfectionist and do not like the “half measures” so you do not want to miss the opportunity. If you feel identified, the evening courses option 1 is right for you.

What does an intensive English course at MAR Sprachschule consist of?
If the Word “patience” does not belong to your vocabulary, if you want everything here and now, you can learn in the quickest, most effective and funniest way with our intensive English courses at MAR Sprachschule: 15 lessons a week, 3 lessons a day, from Monday to Friday and with morning or afternoon timetable. You can choose between 1, 2, 3, 4 or 8 weeks. They are perfect to learn English from scratch or to improve your level of the language you choose in a quick and effective way.
Our Intensive English courses are specially recommended for those people who need to learn the language quickly either because they are going to be for a limited period of time in a country where English is spoken, like holidays, or because they need to learn as quick as possible in order to be able to work or study there. Or just because they want to spend their free time or their holiday in Berlin in a productive way and having fun.
Saturday morning…. Start well your weekend! Take the opportunity to learn with a clear head and of course having fun. Perfect course for those who do not have much time during the week:
- 3 lessons / every Saturday

What does an English course on Saturday at MAR Sprachschule consist of?
Our English courses on Saturday consist of 3 lessons every Saturday. These courses last 3 months, but you can book one or more months depending on your needs. A course on Saturday is perfect for those people who don’t have much time during the week and prefer to learn in a relaxed way, rather than after the work day.
Saturday morning; start the weekend in a good way, take advantage of your time in order to learn and have fun.
Do you want to learn a foreign language but you can’t find a course to fit your timetable? Do you miss class frequently and feel lost the times you do attend? Are you unable to plan your week in advance? Then our 1:1 Course is the course for you!

- Hours available: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 21:00 hours. Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00.

Do you want to learn and the courses not always adapt your schedule? Can´t you always attend to class and when you miss one you do not follow the pace? Do you plan your weeks almost immediately? Then the individual English lessons at MAR Sprachschule are perfect for you. We prepare with you a personalized plan for you to learn what you are interested in and the way you like it.
You can choose between fixed dates according to your schedule or go changing every week according to your needs at that time. Each week you can decide when you would rather to have your class and if one week you have an unexpected situation, you can change your class to another day, but be careful, you have to notify 48 hours in advance.
Individual English classes are also the perfect solution if you have to defend a project or have a job interview. We can help you, we correct possible errors and we guarantee that you’re going to be better prepared.
They are also the perfect complement to other courses. Not all topics have a specific course. If this is your case, and you need a more detailed study of a topic you have seen in class, either for personal or professional reasons, thanks to individual classes, you can take your time with your teacher to increase your vocabulary and knowledge of the subject.

The advantages of a group and individual lessons in one. The English mini groups are the perfect alternative for people who prefer to learn with other students in class, but can´t find a schedule that fits their day. It is also perfect for those who, for work reasons, need flexibility in their classes.
The interaction and the more dynamic environment of the groups and the flexibility in schedules and topics of individual classes.
An English mini group consists of 2 or 3 students maximum. The mini groups can be formed with unknown people that the school contacted according to their level and time compatibility, acquaintances, family or people with similar academic fields, which directly come to sign in as a group. In case that one of the students can´t attend a class, the other one or two students will agree and decide with the teacher to change the day of the next class. If there were no consensus schedule, the student who can not attend must pay the amount of the class. In any case, the lesson would not be lost, since the teacher would send by email to the student the activities seen in class and the homework for the next class so the student can continue without any difficulty.
General information about the courses:
Maximising teacher-student interaction is crucial for us. Therefore, we keep our group sizes small, limiting them to 6 to 10 people in each class. This guarantees you more direct interaction with the teacher and more language practice time within the group. You will have the opportunity to speak as much as possible from the moment the lesson begins.
Our are taught by native teachers. Our teachers are specialised for teaching English (CELTA = Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) as a foreign language, and have a great deal of experience in this area. You can find out more about our teachers here.
We teach according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). These are:
Beginner Level: According to the CEFR level A1, this is the first level for students who do not have any knowledge. At this level we learn the basics of the language, which is needed for everyday communication. With games, in an interactive, funny and communicative way to communicate for the first moment . Every lesson you will notice how your vocabulary is improving and every day you will understand more and more.
Elementary Levels: According to the CEFR level A2 this is the level for beginners with a basic foundation of knowledge. At this stage you can communicate at a basic level , but you want to improve further. At this level we are going to learn very important aspects of the language, which you will use in the normal life. With games, in an interactive, funny and communicative way to communicate for the first moment . Every lesson you will notice how your level is improving and every day you will understand more and more.
Intermediate Level: According to the CEFR, level B1. This is the level for students with advanced basic knowledge. In this course you will learn to use in the normal life our Knowledge fluently. With games, in an interactive, funny and communicative way to communicate for the first moment. Every lesson you will notice how your vocabulary is improving and every day you will be more self-confident in English.
Upper- Intermediate Level: According to the CEFR, level B2. This is the level for students with advanced knowledge of the language. In this course we will improve widely the linguistic competences. We will can have spontaneous conversations and we will discuss about different actually topics in English. We will can notice how we can express us in a natural, spontaneous, and correct way, both by speaking and by writing. The level B2 (Mittelstufe 1) is necessary to apply for the University.
Advanced Level: According to the CEFR, level C1. This is the level for the students with very advanced knowledge. In this course we will perfect the linguistic competences in English. We will discuss about the interesting actually topics and refine writing aspects. The objective is to become a perfect skill in writing and speaking.
